We use our original high-quality cotton yarn (combed yarn) developed specifically for towels, which is characterized by less shedding than regular towel cotton yarn.
Combed yarn is yarn produced through a process called "combing," which involves pulling together cotton. This removes more short fibers than regular yarn, and also reduces pilling.
The cotton used for the yarn is carefully selected, resulting in a more expensive and high-quality yarn.

The hotel style towel's post-bleaching method uses natural water to thoroughly remove the glue applied when the cotton yarn is woven, improving water absorption, and achieving a water absorption time of "1 second," far exceeding the Imabari towel inspection standard of 5 seconds.
The thick pile yarn is woven with long pile, making it easy to capture plenty of air and at the same time creating a structure that quickly absorbs moisture.

The exquisite pile length and density are designed to absorb more air and increase volume the more you use it.
The long pile absorbs air before and after washing, so the volume is increased by about twice.

All of our products are made in Japan, primarily in our own factory, but also with the cooperation of factories in Imabari and other parts of Japan.

Notes

・Due to the nature of towels, they may shed. Always wash new towels separately from other items in plenty of water and dry in the sun before using. Lint shedding will decrease after repeated washing.
・At first, fine fibers and fluff from the manufacturing process will fall off. Wash separately from other items.
・The use of fabric softener can cause fluffing, so use the prescribed amount after the fluffing has subsided. Excessive use of fabric softener can reduce absorbency and cause fluffing.
・Please note that using a dryer for a long period of time can damage towels and cause fluffing and shrinkage.
・Please refrain from using detergents containing chlorine bleach or fluorescent detergents.
・Dark-colored items may transfer color, so wash them separately.
・Please note that leaving them wet for a long period of time can cause mold and odor.
・Cut off any threads or pile that have come out due to snagging with scissors.
・If you use a drum-type washing machine, the texture of the towel may change and it may become more susceptible to shedding. Please check the instruction manual for your drum-type washing machine before washing.
・Do not wash with clothing that has zippers or hooks.
・Before hanging out to dry, shake the towel lightly to "raise the pile" to give it a fluffy finish.
